I'd been telling r/formula1 for two days it was going to rain. They told me I was wrong.
Twenty minutes before lights out, the clouds dropped. I'm 6'3" with a Fuji GFX 50R and a GF 250. Crammed into a four-foot cubby off the trail, hugged the gear to my chest. Hikers kept stopping to laugh at the big American in a hole.
When it stopped, the clouds had won. They were between me and the circuit. I was shooting fog.
A hiker passing the other way told me to drop forty feet down the trail. He was right.
